Nylon
Nylon is the most popular carpet fiber and is notable because of its strength, resilience and retains its texture well. Nylon carpet fiber is both soft and strong, and cleans well.
Polypropylene (Olefin).
It’s resistance to stains, fading, and moisture makes polypropylene, a high value- fiber. Its solution dyed so it is colorfast and will not fade out and is a good selection for playrooms, kitchens and dens.
Polyester .
Naturally stain and fade resistant, strong, and abrasion resistant. Polyester carpets are soft and ideal for thick, cut pile styles. Easy to clean and care for it also gets high marks for versatility
Wool
A natural fiber and is the most durable. Excellent for a high traffic room, as it is a tough fiber that stays resilient and bounces back. Environmentally friendly because it comes from a renewable resource. The only downside to wool is the color comes out easily.
